Hughes House is a 210-unit residential and retail community that will be built at East Rosedale Street and Amanda Avenue as the second phase of the Stop Six Choice Neighborhood. It is named for famed Dunbar High School boys basketball Coach Robert Hughes Sr., the winningest coach in boys basketball history.
Rental units will range in size from a 668-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment to a 1,621-square-foot, four-bedroom townhome on two levels. The property will include 12,000 square feet of ground-level commercial space and amenities including a community swimming pool and splash pad, a fitness center and dog park. Plans also call for a linear park that will connect future phases and provide a pedestrian path east to Rosedale Park and a future community hub.
